AOL
The Carphone Warehouse announced that it would purchase the UK business of AOL on 10 October 2006 for £370m, making it the third largest broadband provider, with over 2 million customers, and the largest LLU Operator with more than 150,000 LLU customers. The acquisition process completed on 9 December 2006. A press release stated that AOL UK Audience business will remain a separate organization and brand with a revenue sharing agreement. The AOL UK Access business was changed to AOL Broadband. The deal included an agreement to continue customers access to the AOL portal content.
BT

Everything Everywhere (EE)
Everything Everywhere Limited
EE (formerly Everything Everywhere) is a British mobile network operator, internet service provider and a division of BT Group. It was established in 2010 as a 50:50 joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and Orange S.A. through the merger of their respective T-Mobile and Orange businesses in the UK. It is the largest mobile network operator in the UK, with around 28 million customers and the largest operator of 4G services in Europe.
EE is headquartered in Hatfield, United Kingdom and also has main offices in Bristol, Darlington, North Tyneside, Leeds and London. In addition to mobile telephone services, EE also provides an IPTV service through its EE TV Box.
As of 26 May 2016, EE's 4G network reaches more than 97% of the UK population, with double speed 4G reaching 80%. EE’s 3G network reaches 98% of the population while its 2G network reaches 99%.
Giffgaff
Giffgaff is a mobile telephone network running as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator using the United Kingdom O2 network. Owned by O2's owners Telefónica, Giffgaff was launched on 25 November 2009.
LycaMobile
Lycamobile is a Mobile virtual network operator that operates in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Hong Kong, the United States, Tunisia and the United Kingdom, where it is based. The Lycamobile brand is distinct from the Lycatel brand and operates with different national corporate entities. Although there are some countries of overlap, Lycamobile and Lycatel do not necessarily operate in parallel. The bulk of Lycamobile revenue is generated from Lycamobile's SIM products for consumers.
O2
Telefonica UK Limited
O2 are the second largest mobile phone network provider in the UK. Formed in 1985 as Cellnet, then renamed to BT Cellnet, then O2 it is now owned by Spanish telecommunications provider Telefónica.
Orange (UK)
Everything Everywhere Limited
Orange UK is a mobile network operator and a former internet service provider in the United Kingdom, launched in 1993. It was purchased by France Télécom (now Orange S.A.) in 2000, which then adopted the Orange brand for all its other mobile communications activities. Orange UK has since merged with Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile UK to form a joint venture, EE.
EE continued to operate the Orange brand until February 2015, when new connections and upgrades on Orange tariffs were withdrawn. Existing Orange customers who wish to upgrade must switch to an EE tariff when their contract term ends, or can choose to remain on their existing Orange tariff without renewing.
Outlook
Outlook.com is a web-based suite of webmail, contacts, tasks, and calendaring services from Microsoft. One of the world's first webmail services, it was founded in 1996 as Hotmail (stylised as HoTMaiL) by Sabeer Bhatia and Jack Smith in Mountain View, California, and headquartered in Sunnyvale.
Phones4u
Phones 4u was a large independent mobile phone retailer in the United Kingdom. It was part of the 4u Group based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Since opening in 1996, it had expanded to over 600 stores throughout the United Kingdom. On 14 September 2014, after EE, Vodafone, Orange & O2, the company's final remaining suppliers, ended their contracts, it was announced that the company was to enter administration.
The company entered administration on 15 September 2014 with PricewaterhouseCoopers appointed as administrators.
Skype (UK)
Skype is an application that provides video chat and voice call services. Users may exchange such digital documents as images, text, video and any others, and may transmit both text and video messages. Skype allows the creation of video conference calls. Skype is available for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, or Linux, as well as Android, Blackberry, and both Apple and Windows smartphones and tablets. Skype is based on a freemium model. Much of the service is free, but Skype Credit or a subscription is required to call a landline or a mobile phone number. At the end of 2010, there were over 660 million worldwide users, with over 300 million estimated active each month as of August 2015. At one point in February 2012, there were thirty four million users concurrently online on Skype.
T-Mobile (UK)
T-Mobile International AG is a holding company for Deutsche Telekom AG's various mobile communications subsidiaries outside Germany. Based in Bonn, Germany, its subsidiaries operate GSM, UMTS and LTE-based cellular networks in Europe, Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company has financial stakes in mobile operators in both Central and Eastern Europe.
