London Underground
The London Underground is a public rapid transit system serving Greater London and parts of the home counties of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. The network is considered the oldest rapid transit system; and the first line to operate underground electric traction trains. The network has expanded to 11 lines, and in carries over 1.2 billion passengers per year.
