Toys R Us set to close all US stores
Toys R Us is set to close or sell all of its 885 stores in the US in the coming months, the BBC understands. Toys R Us said earlier that all its stores in the UK will close in the next six weeks. He added that Toys 'R' Us also planned to sell operations in Canada, central Europe and Asia. There were reports the toy chain had stopped paying its suppliers earlier this week, the Washington Post reported. In the UK Toys R Us joins a long list of high-street retailers, including Maplin and Claire's, that have run into difficulties this year.
