French Connection extends sale talks with ‘interested parties’
French Connection said it is extending talks with a number of interested parties about a potential sale of the group months after the fashion retailer began preliminary discussions as part of an extensive review. The company's board said it has pushed back the time for completing the strategic review and formal sale process until its scheduled interim earnings report, due to be published around September 17, the statement on Friday said. "Discussions have progressed since then and are ongoing with a number of interested parties," French Connection said, adding that there is "No certainty that an offer will be made for the company, nor as to the terms on which any offer will be made". The review includes the consideration of all corporate and brand transactions including seeking offers for a formal sale process.
