Dyson to cut up to 1,000 jobs in the UK
BBC. Dyson plans to cut up to 1,000 UK jobs as part of a global restructure. Dyson CEO Hanno Kirner said the company would support those at risk of redundancy. Dyson has 3,500 UK employees with offices based in Wiltshire, Bristol and London. Dyson was founded by inventor Sir James Dyson, who donated £6m in January to fund a Malmesbury Primary School. Last year Dyson announced plans to invest £100m in a new research and development hub in central Bristol.
